Two Tier Tinker Bell Cake
This is my first ever attempt to make a two-tier cake that took me 2 days to make. I have to say, this is an exciting and nerve wracking experience. Fortunately, the order was placed in advance and I managed to plan ahead and get everything ready.
This two-tier cake is all chocolate base. I use chocolate ganache to fill the first tier and salted caramel buttercream for the top tier.
Before making this cake, I did a lot of research on tips and advises especially stacking the 2nd tier on top. I was feeling nervous and thinking lots of “what if possibilities”. (I am laughing to myself right now how nervous I was then).
Everything is edible apart from my Tinker Bell Cake Topper. I got a set of fairies that I bought ages ago thinking it’ll come handy in my baking adventure and it did. It came really handy indeed.
I usually customize my cake box depending on how tall the cakes are, but I bought one this time. I needed a big one, lengthy enough to fit my two-tier Tinker Bell Cake.
