English Scones, Perfect for an Afternoon Tea

One afternoon, my husband and I are craving for some scones. Yet, we know that it is quite a challenge to find this biscuit here in Singapore. You are lucky if you can find one at the bakery or at the supermarket which is the frozen ones (erm not a fan of frozen food). We didn’t fancy going out either and want to stay in and be lazy. Then I thought, why can’t I make them instead?

Thankfully, my mum-in-law is only a text away. She may be in a different time zone, but hey she manages to share some of her recipe and some extra tips too. I’m the luckiest daughter-in-law!

These English Scones are scrumptious! My husband and I definitely enjoyed our afternoon tea with these super easy to make biscuits. Worth your time if you are feeling lazy like me.
