In a bowl, mix all together the dry ingredients, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Make a well in the center and pour in the butter, eggs and milk. Mix them nicely until smooth and lump free.
Heat a griddle or a frying pan over medium flame and grease with butter.
Scoop a 1/4 cup batter into the pan. When bubbles start to appear on the top surface, turn it over and cook until lightly brown (both sides). Do the same of the remaining batter and greasing the pan with butter in between batches.
